As part of the International Vulture Awareness Day, this experience will offer you a behind-the-scenes look at how we are working to restore Bearded Vulture populations to the wild. Our expert staff will provide a one-hour guided tour, during which you will see these majestic birds up close and learn about our successful captive breeding work. You will also discover how we are reintroducing Bearded Vultures to areas where they have disappeared and restocking populations where they are on the brink of extinction. Managed by the Vulture Conservation Foundation on behalf of the Junta de Andalucía, Guadalentín is one of the most productive breeding centres for Bearded Vultures in Europe. Each year, it contributes numerous chicks for release into the wild or to be part of breeding programmes to ensure genetic diversity for future generations of vultures.
