Description:
Come learn all about vultures and the important role they play in global ecosystems. Have you ever wondered how smart they are, or if they make good parents? Bring your questions and curiosity about these often misunderstood birds, and leave with a better appreciation for nature's own "Clean-up Crew"! You'll find Discovery Stations and activities set up in two locations this year: the Africa Aviary vulture habitat and Raptor Roost. You can vote for your favorite vulture, compare your wingspan to that of different birds, make crafts, and more. Don't forget to check out our keeper talks, too! Keeper Chats scheduled: Vulture feed and Keeper chat at the Africa Aviary: 11:15 a.m. Keeper Chat in Raptor Roost: 1:30 p.m.

If you are planning to run activities to celebrate vultures this International Vulture Awareness Day, submit your details below to let other people know what you are doing.

Please note that it will take 1-2 working days for information to appear on the IVAD activities page. If you wish to make any changes to your listing, please re-submit your new details in the form below.
