Description:
The event will take interested vulture lovers on a hike from the village of Dolno Ozirovo to the area of the vulture aviary and feeding site nearby. Participants will be able to learn interesting information and stories about the reintroduction of the species in this area and observe the majestic flight of Black and Griffon vultures. They will also enjoy the beautiful scenery of Vrachanska planina, with the Kotlya ridge. The tour will be guided by Georgi Stoyanov - our colleague, who has supported for more than 20-year the process of returning the vulture species to the area, and is one of the most knowledgeable experts on vultures in the country.
