Created in 1990 at Puy du Fou France, the Falconry Academy (Bird Department) hosts a wide range of bird species, including several threatened in the wild. Over time, and with a desire to strengthen its commitment to the conservation of endangered species through its various actions (research, ex situ conservation, animal welfare monitoring, and conservation education), the Puy du Fou team has naturally diversified its projects and approaches in this field. As part of its important awareness mission, the team has developed dedicated educational activities, in which the theme of vulture conservation plays a key role. Within the framework of International Vulture Awareness Day, several activities are organized, taking place every Friday to Sunday from July 31 to September 6: Observation and presentation of different vulture species Educational sessions highlighting conservation issues and actions for the protection of vultures Sale of “Sauvons les vautours” (“Save the Vultures”) bracelets, supporting various conservation programs
