International Vulture Awareness Week 2026 31 August – 6 September 2026 Join us for a week-long celebration dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of vultures and inspiring communities to protect these vital scavengers. Through school outreach programmes, competitions, cultural events, and community participation, the campaign aims to promote vulture conservation across the region of Kangra district. Programme Schedule 31 August (Day 1): Awareness programme, competitions, and Nukkad Natak at a vulture nest colony 1 September (Day 2): Awareness programme and competitions at School 2 September (Day 3): Awareness programme and competitions at School 3 September (Day 4): Awareness programme and competitions at school. 4 September (Day 5): Small awareness programme at Dharamshala 5 September (Day 6): Awareness programme at School 6 September (Day 7): Grand Finale at Nagrota Surian featuring the final competitions, prize distribution ceremony, and a Vulture Conservation Road Rally.
