Join us in Aranda de Moncayo (Zaragoza, Spain) for two free guided tours celebrating International Vulture Day on Saturday, September 5th and Saturday, September 12th, 2026, from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm. All four Iberian vulture species can be found in Aranda de Moncayo — griffon, cinereous, Egyptian, and bearded vulture — and this edition explores their vital role and their close relationship with extensive livestock farming and the territory, including the ecosystem services vultures provide, from sanitary clean-up to disease control and nutrient recycling. Alongside local herder, participants will walk among free-ranging cattle and horses, join guided birdwatching stops, enjoy a tasting of local produce, and discover traditional pastoral heritage along the way.
