Join us on Saturday, September 6th, from 1:00–3:00 PM at Springbrook Nature Center in Itasca, IL for a free, drop-in event honoring these incredible birds. You’ll have the chance to meet our two resident Turkey Vultures up close and discover why these often-misunderstood birds are truly amazing. Think of vultures as nature’s ultimate cleanup crew—working behind the scenes to stop the spread of disease and keep ecosystems healthy. Our volunteers will be on-site to answer questions, share fun facts, and help you gain a new appreciation for these remarkable birds.
