Join Raven Ridge Wildlife Center for our annual International Vulture Awareness Day event! This free community event is all about changing the negative perceptions and associations people have with vultures. With the help of our permanent resident Black Vulture, Barron Von Vulture, we aim to show the public the beauty and importance these birds play in our local environments. This event has a variety of activities and vendors that all ages can enjoy. Some activities include free games and crafts, photo ops, an education program focused on vultures, and more! We will have a variety of vulture- and other wildlife-themed merchandise for sale that directly supports our wildlife rehabilitation work.
